How to Combine Multiple Clips in Pinnacle Studio 14

Unless you happen to have a multiple-camera setup and full film crew at your disposal, creating professional-looking, multi-angle scenes for your videos requires some clip splitting, shuffling and combining. Pinnacle Studio 14 allows you to combine multiple clips together, whether for a smoother transition or because you split clips earlier but now want to recombine them. There is one caveat however: you can only combine clips that constitute a continuous extract from the same source video. Combinable clips will have a dotted borderline between them.

Start Pinnacle Studio 14 and open your saved project. Select the "Edit" tab to display your video clips. If the video clips do not automatically appear, click the folder icon located to the right of your project's name and locate the clips.

Click the "Timeline View" button located beneath the Movie Window to view the clips on the timeline. Clips that meet along a dotted line on the timeline may be combined. If the border between two clips is a solid line, they cannot be combined.
