AVI to Vcd Conversion

AVI or Audio Video Interleave is a specific video format widely used by Microsoft operating systems. Some modern DVD players can read AVI video files, but many cannot. A VCD is a Video Compact Disc, and is used to refer to a CD-ROM that has been encoded with video and audio. You can use free third-party software to convert AVI to VCD.

Download and install Fly DVD SVCD VCD Maker. This software will both convert AVI files to VCD file format and burn the converted VCD file to a blank CD-R.

After installing, run the software and import one or more AVI files to be converted. Use the on-screen prompts to select the proper VCD settings, then wait for the files to convert. Insert a blank CD-R disc into the burner drive after the program has finished converting and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the burning process.
