How to Convert Super 8mm to Digital
Converting your tape from Super 8mm to digital may seem daunting. But with the proper equipment, it is actually simple. You will create a new "master" on your camcorder that you can feed into your computer. That way, you will be able to view it on DVD or share it online. You may even find the cost of setting up your own conversion station at home saves you money rather than taking tapes into a professional copy lab.

2
Set up your camcorder so that it looks square onto the projection area and so that the projected images fill the view finder. You may find a tripod comes in handy. Run an audio line out from the projector to the camcorder as this will provide the best transferred sound quality.
