Where did they shoot the Truman show?

The Truman Show wasn't filmed in one specific location, but rather built on a soundstage in Burbank, California.

The film's iconic "Seahaven" town was entirely constructed on the studio lot, complete with houses, streets, and even a simulated ocean. This allowed the filmmakers to create a perfectly controlled environment for their fictional world.

While there are some locations in the real world that resemble aspects of Seahaven, the entire town is a cinematic creation.
