How much did tickets cost at the globe?

In Shakespeare's time, the Globe Theatre in London charged different prices for admission, with the most expensive seats costing one penny (or 12 pence). The cheapest seats, which were located in the "yard" or "pit" of the theatre, cost only one halfpenny (or 6 pence).
