How do the lighthouse keepers mans are finally rescued three skeleton key?

In Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Light-House", the three lighthouse keepers are never actually rescued using skeleton keys. In the story, the narrator recounts the events leading up to the deaths of the three keepers, and the subsequent discovery of their bodies by a replacement crew. No mention is made of skeleton keys or any other means of rescue.
