1. Step into a tall and narrow box with small opening on one side large enough for your head to stick out of with your body facing away from the audience.
2. Your head will be showing on one side of the box and your feet on the other.
3. Cover the opening with a curtain.
Magician:
1. Show the audience that the box is empty by lifting the curtain all the way up.
2. Close the curtain and use a saw to make sawing motions all over the box except where your head and feet are.
3. Once you are done sawing lift the curtain and show the audience that the "lady" or assistant is now cut in half.
4. Quickly pull the curtain over the box and open the doors at the back of the box to allow your assistant to escape before closing them again and lifting the curtain to show the audience the empty box.
