How do you knock down a beehive?

Beehives typically hang from trees or other structures. To knock down a beehive, you will need a long pole or stick and a heavy object to weigh down the other end. First, use the pole or stick to dislodge the hive from its hanging spot. As the hive falls to the ground, quickly throw the heavy object on top of it to keep the bees from escaping. Then, you can use a bee suit or protective clothing to safely remove the hive from the ground and relocate it if desired.
