Call of duty 3 on ps2 is says to click r3 use melee and there no button in training?

The PlayStation 2 controller does not have an R3 button. The R3 button is a feature of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 controllers.

In Call of Duty 3 for PlayStation 2, the melee attack is mapped to the R1 button.
