Masuda Method (Breeding):
- Get two Pokémon of different languages (one from your game, and one from a different region).
- Breed these two Pokémon together.
- The chances of getting a shiny Pokémon using this method are approximately 1 in 683.
Shiny Charm:
- Obtain the Shiny Charm by completing the Sinnoh Pokédex (catching and registering all 150 Pokémon in the Sinnoh region).
- The Shiny Charm increases your chances of finding a shiny Pokémon by 2x.
Pokeradar:
- Use the Pokéradar in tall grass to search for Pokémon.
- A chain starts when you encounter the same species of Pokémon multiple times in a row.
- The chances of finding a shiny Pokémon increase with each consecutive encounter in the chain.
- The maximum chain is 40, and the chances of finding a shiny at that point are approximately 1 in 200.
Soft Resetting:
- Go to a location where a specific Pokémon appears (e.g., a legendary encounter or a static encounter in the wild).
- Save your game before the encounter.
- Check if the Pokémon is shiny. If it's not, reset the game and try again.
- Repeating this process until you encounter a shiny Pokémon.
Remember, finding shiny Pokémon is based on luck and probability. The methods mentioned above increase the chances of finding shinies but do not guarantee them.
