1. Turn off the power to the blower and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Locate the resistor. It is usually a small cylindrical component with color bands or numbers printed on it.
3. Set your multimeter to the resistance setting (Ω).
4. Touch the probes of the multimeter to the terminals of the resistor.
5. The multimeter will display the resistance value of the resistor.
