How do you test a resister in blower?

To test a resistor in a blower, you will need a multimeter. Here are the steps on how to test a resistor:

1. Turn off the power to the blower and disconnect it from the power source.

2. Locate the resistor. It is usually a small cylindrical component with color bands or numbers printed on it.

3. Set your multimeter to the resistance setting (Ω).

4. Touch the probes of the multimeter to the terminals of the resistor.

5. The multimeter will display the resistance value of the resistor.

6. Compare the resistance value with the value specified on the resistor. If the values are close, the resistor is functioning properly. If the values are significantly different, the resistor may be damaged and should be replaced.

Here are some additional tips for testing resistors:

* If the resistor is soldered into the circuit, you can desolder it and test it out of circuit.

* If the resistor is part of a larger component, such as a motor, you may need to disassemble the component to access the resistor.

* Be careful not to touch the terminals of the resistor with your fingers, as this can affect the resistance reading.

* If the resistor is damaged, replace it with a resistor of the same value and power rating.
