How do you evolve scyther in Pokemon liquid crystal?

You can't evolve Scyther in Pokémon Liquid Crystal. The developers chose to omit the evolution of Scyther into Scizor for this particular ROM hack.

This means you won't be able to find a Metal Coat or evolve Scyther through any other means in the game.
