* No Psychic TMs exist: In FireRed, Psychic moves are only learned through level-up or breeding. There are no TMs or HMs for Psychic-type moves.
* Different game mechanics: The TM system in FireRed is different from later games. Many Psychic-type moves that are available as TMs in later generations are not in FireRed.
If you want to teach a Pokémon a Psychic-type move, you'll need to:
1. Level up: Certain Pokémon learn Psychic-type moves as they level up.
2. Breeding: You can breed Pokémon to inherit moves they know.
Examples:
