Can you use a stone on gible Pokemon diamond?

You can't use a stone to evolve Gible in Pokemon Diamond. Gible evolves into Gabite at level 24 and then into Garchomp at level 48.

Stones are used to evolve certain Pokemon through a specific method called "evolution by stone," but Gible does not evolve this way.
