Quick-Play Spells:
* Can be activated during your turn or your opponent's turn. This is their key characteristic.
* Must be activated during the Main Phase, Battle Phase, or during the Standby Phase. This is important to remember as you can't activate them just at any random moment.
Important Considerations:
* "During the turn" is not the same as "on the turn". This means you can't activate a Quick-Play Spell during the Draw Phase or End Phase.
* Some Quick-Play Spells have specific restrictions on when they can be activated. For example, a card might require you to have a monster on the field to activate it.
Example:
Let's say you have "Pot of Greed" in your hand, a Quick-Play Spell that lets you draw two cards. You could activate it during either your Main Phase or your opponent's Main Phase. You cannot activate it during your Draw Phase or End Phase.
In summary, Quick-Play Spells can be activated during your turn, but they must be activated during specific phases, not just at any point during your turn.
