How do you take the doors off a Jeep Grand Cherokee?

To remove a door from a Jeep Grand Cherokee, you will need the following tools:

* Socket set

* Wrench set

*Screwdriver

*Pry bar

Instructions:

1. Park the Jeep Grand Cherokee on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.

2. Open the front door that you wish to remove.

3. Locate the three 10mm bolts that hold the door hinge to the body of the Jeep. These bolts are located on the side of the door, near the top, middle, and bottom.

4. Use the socket wrench to loosen the three bolts, but do not remove them completely.

5. Locate the two 13mm bolts that hold the door hinge to the door frame. These bolts are located on the bottom of the door, near the front and rear.

6. Use the socket wrench to loosen the two bolts, but do not remove them completely.

7. Open the rear door on the same side of the vehicle.

8. Locate the two 10mm bolts that hold the door hinge to the body of the Jeep. These bolts are located on the side of the door, near the top and middle.

9. Use the socket wrench to loosen the two bolts, but do not remove them completely.

10. Locate the single 13mm bolt that holds the door hinge to the door frame. This bolt is located on the bottom of the door, near the rear.

11. Use the socket wrench to loosen the bolt, but do not remove it completely.

12. Use the pry bar to gently pry the door open until the hinges are clear of the body and door frame.

13. Lift the door off of the Jeep and set it aside.

14. Repeat steps 3-13 on the other side of the Jeep to remove the remaining door.

To reinstall the doors, simply follow the steps in reverse order.
