The object of the game is to be the first player to remove all of their hole cards from the table.
To start the game, each player is dealt five hole cards.
The remaining cards are placed face down in a pile in the middle of the table.
_On their turn, a player can do one of the following:_
* Play a card from their hand. A player can play a card face up on the table.
When playing a card, they must match the rank or suit of the top card already in the middle.
* Draw a card from the pile. If a player cannot play a card, they can draw a card from the pile in the middle.
Players can only draw one card per turn.
* Knock. A player can knock if they believe they have fewer hole cards than the other player/players.
When someone knocks, all players must reveal their cards.
The player who has the fewest cards wins the game.
_There are a few special rules to keep in mind_
* Aces are high.
So, an Ace is higher than a King.
* A 2 can match any card.
So, a 2 can be used to match a 3 or a King, for example.
* A pair of cards can match any two cards of the same rank.
So, a pair of Queens can match a Queen and a Jack, or another pair of Queens, etc.
* A group of three cards can match any three cards of the same rank.
So, three 5s can match three 6s, or three Jacks, etc.
* A group of four cards can match any four cards of the same rank.
So, four Queens can match four Kings, or four 2s, etc.
_The game ends_ when one player has removed all of their hole cards from the table.
_Tips_
* _Pay attention to your opponents' cards. This will help you to deduce what cards they have in their hole and what cards are left in the pile.
* _Plan ahead. Your plays should be based on the long term goal of getting rid of all of your hole cards.
* _Don't be afraid to knock. If you think you have fewer cards than your opponents, don't be afraid to knock and end the game early.
