1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Locate the chime module, which is usually located under the dash on the driver's side.
3. Remove the chime module from its housing.
4. Cut the wire that goes to the speaker.
5. Reconnect the battery.
Option 2:
1. Locate the fuse that controls the chimes, which is usually located in the fuse box under the hood.
2. Remove the fuse.
3. Replace the fuse with a lower-amp fuse. This will reduce the volume of the chimes.
Note: Disconnecting the battery or removing the fuse will also disable other electrical components in the vehicle, such as the radio and power windows.
