What does by Five Finger Death Punch mean?

Five Finger Death Punch (often abbreviated as 5FDP) is an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada. The band was formed in 2005 by guitarist Zoltan Bathory, drummer Jeremy Spencer, and vocalist Ivan Moody. The group's name supposedly refers to the martial art technique known as "the five finger death punch", an attack which involves making a fist with all fingers pointing out, similar to the character Mr. T from the 80s television show The A-Team, and slamming it into the opponent's face. However, the band has also stated their name simply originated from the word association game Exquisite Corpse.
