Will there be any more Nintendo events for Pokemon Emerald?

Nintendo has not announced any future events for Pokémon Emerald. The last official Nintendo event for Pokémon Emerald was the Pokémon Emerald Battle Frontier Ribbon Syndicate 2005, which was held in Japan.
