Does Rock Band 2 for PS2 have character creation?

Rock Band 2 for PS2 does not have character creation. This feature was introduced in Rock Band 2 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii, but was not included in the PS2 version.

The PS2 version of Rock Band 2 has a limited set of pre-made characters to choose from.
