How did Dorothy and her friends return to the Emerald City in Wonderful Wizard of

Dorothy and her friends did not return to the Emerald City in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Instead, they traveled down the Yellow Brick Road to the Land of Oz where they met the Wizard and eventually returned home to Kansas.
