What happened to Ronnie Gentile from the Crystal Mansion?

Ronnie Gentile, one of the stars of A&E's *The Surreal Life*, died of a drug overdose on September 15, 2022. He was 49 years old.

As reported by the *New York Post*, Gentile was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home by a friend. Authorities confirmed he died of an apparent overdose.

Gentile's death comes five months after another *Surreal Life* star, Justin "Bobby" Brescia, died at age 41 from a drug overdose.
