What made Antigone meet her end?

Antigone met her end because she defied King Creon's order not to bury her brother Polynices. She knew that she would be punished, but she felt it was her duty to honor her brother's memory. When Creon found out that Antigone had buried Polynices, he sentenced her to death. She was entombed alive, but before she died, she hanged herself.
