What is the meaning of Auguries Innocence?

"Auguries of Innocence" is a poem by English poet William Blake printed in the 1863 work titled "Songs of Innocence". The title of the poem can be interpreted to mean "signs of a world where humans act with kindness and sincerity."

The poem explores and celebrates how innocent children experience their environment and how their natural, sincere outlook and perception allows them to see goodness. It offers contrasting examples throughout that juxtapose how this perspective differs drastically from that of those with a more rationalized, and tainted point of view.
