Will the ps3 ask for credit card number psn ticket?

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) does not ask for a credit card number when redeeming a PlayStation Store (PSN) ticket. To add funds to your PSN wallet using a PSN ticket, you will need to enter the 12-digit code found on the back of the ticket.
