Do not underestimate difficulty. Just because this involves a trick deck it is not intensely easier than other tricks. In fact, sometimes it can be harder because you have to perform in a way that makes audiences feel the deck is real and legit.
This deck works because the top 20 cards, or so, are regular cards, and the rest are tied tightly together (so they cannot spread) and the very bottom one has a weighted tape device.
The weighted device will rise whenever turned, which is ultimately how the card rises.
Start by spreading the top cards, in a way that hides the bottom of the deck that does not spread. Ask your spectator to remove one.
Your dialogue here is crucial. Make sure to stress she can choose ANY card, even though you are limiting her to the top section of the deck that moves.
Have her show the card around to anybody around her.
Have her place her card back on top of the deck. Once there, cut the deck in half.
This will connect her card to the tape at the bottom of the deck, which has the tape/adhesive.
Turn the deck around and place it back into the box. You have just rotated the deck so that the weight is at the bottom. Now it will float to the top, causing the card to rise.
Because it will do this, you need to grasp the deck tightly after putting it in the box. The trick is not over yet and you do not want it to rise prematurely.
Hand the deck back to her and instruct her to think about her card. As she does so, the card will rise out of the deck.
Quickly remove it and ask if it is her card. To an unknown spectator it will seem as if she has just used ESP to summon a card.
