How do you change fule pump in 95 crown vic?

To change the fuel pump in a 1995 Crown Victoria, follow these steps:

1. Prepare your vehicle. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake. If possible, raise the rear of the vehicle with ramps or a jack and jack stands. This will give you more room to work.

2. Locate the fuel pump. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank, which is under the rear seat. To access the fuel tank, you will need to remove the rear seat.

3. Disconnect the fuel lines. Before you can remove the fuel pump, you will need to disconnect the fuel lines. There are two fuel lines that connect to the fuel pump: the supply line and the return line. The supply line is the larger of the two lines. To disconnect the fuel lines, use a wrench to loosen the nuts that hold them in place. Be careful not to spill any fuel.

4. Remove the fuel pump. Once the fuel lines are disconnected, you can remove the fuel pump. To do this, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the fuel pump in place. Once the screws are removed, you can lift the fuel pump out of the fuel tank.

5. Inspect the fuel pump. Once the fuel pump is removed, inspect it for damage. Look for any cracks, leaks, or other signs of damage. If the fuel pump is damaged, it will need to be replaced.

6. Install the new fuel pump. If the fuel pump is not damaged, you can install it by following the steps above in reverse order. Be sure to tighten all of the screws and nuts securely.

7. Test the fuel pump. Once the fuel pump is installed, you can test it by turning on the ignition. The fuel pump should make a humming noise when it is turned on. If the fuel pump does not make a noise, it may be faulty and will need to be replaced.

8. Reinstall the rear seat. Once you have tested the fuel pump, you can reinstall the rear seat.
