How do you switch items in your bag Pokemon Red?

You can't directly switch items in your bag in Pokemon Red. Here's how you manage items:

1. Open your bag: Press the Start button and select Bag.

2. Select an item: Use the directional pad to highlight the item you want to use or discard.

3. Use or discard:

* Use: Press A to use the selected item. This will depend on the item's function (e.g., Potion heals a Pokemon).

* Discard: Press B to discard the item. This will remove it from your bag permanently.

To change the order of your items:

1. Select an item: Highlight the item you want to move.

2. Move it: Press A to select it and then use the directional pad to move it up or down in the list.

3. Confirm: Press A again to confirm the new position.

Important note: You can't directly swap items with each other. You can only move them up or down in the list.
