How do you catch a Pokemon in GO?

Here's how to catch Pokémon in Pokémon GO:

1. Encountering a Pokémon:

* Explore your surroundings: Pokémon appear in the real world around you. Walk around and keep an eye out for them on your map.

* Use Incense: Incense attracts Pokémon to your location for 30 minutes.

* Visit PokéStops: PokéStops are locations that offer items like Poké Balls, Potions, and more. You can also find Pokémon nearby.

* Look for rustling grass: Sometimes, a Pokémon will be hiding in tall grass.

2. Throwing a Poké Ball:

* Tap on the Pokémon: Once you encounter a Pokémon, tap on it to start the catch screen.

* Target the Pokémon: Aim your Poké Ball at the Pokémon by dragging your finger on the screen.

* Throw the Poké Ball: Release your finger to throw the Poké Ball.

* Hit the Pokémon: The goal is to land the Poké Ball within the circle surrounding the Pokémon. The smaller the circle, the better your chances of catching it.

3. Catching Tips:

* Curveballs: Spin the Poké Ball before throwing to get a curveball. Curveballs increase your chance of catching a Pokémon.

* Berry Bonuses: Use Razz Berries to increase your catch rate.

* Colored Circles: The color of the circle around the Pokémon indicates its difficulty to catch:

* Green: Easy

* Yellow: Medium

* Orange: Hard

* Red: Very hard

* Throwing Accuracy: Aim for the center of the circle for the best chance of catching the Pokémon.

* Patience: If the Pokémon breaks out of the Poké Ball, keep throwing until you catch it.

4. After Catching:

* Earn XP: You earn experience points (XP) for catching Pokémon.

* Collect Stardust: You also earn Stardust, which can be used to power up your Pokémon.

* Check your Pokédex: Your Pokédex keeps track of all the Pokémon you've caught.

Important Note:

* Catching Pokémon requires real-world exploration. The game encourages you to move around in your environment to find Pokémon.

* Be aware of your surroundings: Look out for traffic, obstacles, and other people while playing.
