What attire do you wear on the waltz?

Men

- Formal Wear: A tuxedo is the traditional choice for men attending a waltz. It should be black or midnight blue and include a jacket, trousers, waistcoat, and bow tie.

- Uniform: If the waltz is part of a military or other formal event, men may be required to wear their uniforms.

- Semi-Formal Wear: For less formal events, men may opt for a dark suit and tie, or even a sport coat and slacks.

Women

- Ball Gown: A floor-length ball gown is the traditional choice for women attending a waltz. It can be any color or style, but should be elegant and formal.

- Cocktail Dress: For less formal events, women may opt for a cocktail dress, which is shorter than a ball gown and may be more comfortable for dancing.

- Dressy Separates: Women may also choose to wear dressy separates, such as a skirt and blouse or a dressy pantsuit.

Additional Accessories

- Gloves: Gloves are optional, but they can add a touch of elegance to your outfit.

- Jewelry: Jewelry should be kept to a minimum, and should be understated and elegant.

- Hair: Hair should be styled neatly and formally, and should not be too elaborate.

- Shoes: Shoes should be closed-toe and comfortable for dancing.
