How are samba instruments made out of?

Materials:

* Wood (usually jacaranda or mahogany)

* Goatskin

* Metal (for the rims)

* Nylon (for the strings)

Manufacturing steps:

1. Cutting and shaping the wood: The wood is cut into the desired shapes for the body of the instrument.

2. Attaching the goatskin: The goatskin is stretched over the body of the instrument and secured with glue or nails.

3. Adding the metal rims: The metal rims are attached to the body of the instrument to hold the goatskin in place.

4. Adding the strings: The nylon strings are attached to the body of the instrument and tensioned to create the desired pitch.

5. Finishing: The instrument is sanded and polished to give it a smooth finish.
