What is the origion of Chinese Dragon Dance?

China

Dragon dance is a traditional Chinese dance and performance art. It is said to have originated in the Han Dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE) when the Chinese people began to worship the dragon as a symbol of good luck, power and strength. Dragon dance is usually performed during Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival, and other important festivals and celebrations. It is also often performed at weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions.

Dragon dance has spread to many other countries in Asia, including Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore. It is also performed in some Western countries, such as the United States and Canada.
