What is kinaransa folk dance?
The Kinaransa, or Tinikling, folk dance originated from the Philippines. Dancers must leap in between bamboo poles as they are rapidly clacked on the ground and rhythmically snapped together by two people.
A bamboo dance in the Philippines in which two people beat, tap, and slide bamboo poles on the ground and against each other as other people dance in rhythm between, around, over, and under the moving poles.
