History
Best Dance Crew was created by Randy Jackson and Nigel Lythgoe, the same producers who created American Idol. The show first aired on MTV on December 5, 2008. The first season was hosted by JC Chasez, a member of the boy band NSYNC. The show was a success, and it was renewed for a second season, which premiered on January 14, 2010.
