Yes, Glendale High School has a jazz band. The Glendale High School Jazz Band is an ensemble of student musicians who perform jazz standards and original compositions. The band is conducted by Mr. John Smith and meets twice weekly after school. Jazz Band I is limited to 20 members and members are selected based upon an audition held once annually in the spring. Jazz Band II is open to all students and no auditions are required.

The Glendale High School Jazz Band has been performing for over 25 years and has earned a reputation for excellence. The band has performed at various events, including the Northridge Jazz Festival, the Reno Jazz Festival, and the Disneyland All-American College Band. The band has also performed at the Blue Whale Jazz Club and the Catalina Jazz Club.
