What can Choragus do that the other chorus members cannot in

Choragus is the leader of the chorus in a Greek play. He is the only member of the chorus who speaks directly to the audience, and he is responsible for introducing the play, explaining the plot, and commenting on the action. Choragus also leads the chorus in singing and dancing. The other chorus members do not have these same responsibilities.
