What is Sonic Riders Extreme?

Sonic Riders Extreme is a canceled racing game that was in development by Sumo Digital for the Wii U.[1] It was intended to be released in late 2014 or early 2015,[2] but in August 2014 it was confirmed by Sumo Digital that development of the game had been stopped for an indefinite period of time.[3]
