Their primary clothing materials were:

* Yucca: This plant provided fibers for weaving into baskets, sandals, and clothing.
* Rabbit fur: Used for warm winter clothing, particularly for men's robes.
* Deer skin: Used for clothing, especially for men's clothing and moccasins.
* Turkey feathers: Worn for ceremonial purposes.
The Hopi did trade with other tribes, including those from the Southwest who did grow cotton. It's possible that some cotton clothing was obtained through trade, but it was not a primary material used for their traditional clothing.
