What has the author Augustus Sauerbeck written?

Augustus Sauerbeck (*1 March 1831 – 14 July 1915) was an Actuary, a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, and an Insurance Manager from London, England. He is best known for introducing the concept of real interest rates versus money rates of interest, which is known as the Sauerbeck effect.

He was also the editor of The Times from 1873 to 1904. He was also the compiler of the Sauerbeck Index, a measure of the exchange rate of the British pound sterling against a basket of other major currencies.

His published works include "British Trade and Navigation from 1814 to 1890", which was published in 1890, and "Prices of Commodities and Rates of Discount from 1846 to 1896", which was published in 1896.
