What are the basic movements in folk dance maglalatik?

The following are the primary movements in the Philippine folk dance Maglalatik:

1. Singkilan: This is the lead dancer and is considered as the most difficult movement in the dance. The dancer holds two short sticks and crosses them in front of him or her, while making a scissor motion at the same time.

2. Palipasan: This is when two dancers cross each other's sticks.

3. Sagwan: This movement involves the sticks resembling oars of a boat.

4. Pandanggo: This movement involves holding two sticks and twirling them around.

5. Sitsit: These are foot tapping steps on the ground.

6. Palusot: This movement is where one dancer pretends to slip and falls to the ground, while avoiding an attack by another dancer with the wooden coconut shells.
