How do you brake dance?

Brakedancing consists of four basic movements, referred to as the top rock, downrock, power moves and freezes.

1. Top Rocking: This is all of your movement while you are standing up, and it's the part that incorporates the most personality and style.

- Rock, paper, scissors-like gestures with your arms

- Shuffling your feet

- Hopping

- Walking

- Skipping

- Jumping

2. Downrocking: This is the part of the dance performed on your hands and back.

- Backspin

- Headspin

- Hand glide

3. Power moves: These involve explosive moves and quick transitions between moves.

- Flips

- Air flares

4. Freezes: These are athletic feats that involve holding a position for an extended time.

- Baby Freeze

- Chair freeze
