Are there steps to the greek dance zembekiko?

1. Basic step: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms at your sides. Take a step forward with your left foot, then bring your right foot to meet it. Repeat this step, alternating feet, while keeping your knees slightly bent.

2. Cross step: As you step forward with your left foot, cross your right foot over it and place it behind your left foot. Then, step forward with your right foot and bring your left foot to meet it. Repeat this step, alternating feet.

3. Turn: As you step forward with your left foot, turn your body to the left and place your right foot behind your left foot. Then, step forward with your right foot and turn your body to the right, placing your left foot behind your right foot. Repeat this step, alternating feet.

4. Arm movements: As you dance, move your arms in a fluid, circular motion. You can also raise your arms above your head or clap your hands.

5. Improvisation: The zembekiko is a traditional dance, but there are no set rules. Feel free to improvise and create your own steps.
