What are the basic dance steps of sayaw sa bangko folk dance?

The basic dance steps of Sayaw sa Bangko Filipino folk dance are described below:

Step 1: Facing each other, partners join inside hand then raise and release. Simultaneously step on inner side with inside foot, place outside foot together (step close), step on inside side with inside foot, close outside foot to inside (side close). Hop on inside foot turning 1/4 turn as outside foot swings away with knee bent towards rear (pivot hop right or left. Repeat turning the opposite direction. Do steps (step close, side close, pivot hop 1/4 right -1/4 left or vice versa) twice making two turns in all).

Step 2: Partners hold left, then right hand (2 hand-claps), with their left foot, they step and close and raise right foot forward; partners tap raised toe. Repeat using right then left foot raising inside foot (4 touches, each feet two counts each).

Step 3: Partners place inside hands shoulder level, outside hands on waist. With a hop hop they take one long slide forward inside feet then outside together, (right or left foot may lead). Repeat hopping to left. Continue alternating sides and sliding back then forth (4 hops in all; slide and close - slide step close; face front when sliding. 2 slides forward and backward).

Dance Variation: At times partners can take turns tapping right then the left outside leg with inside foot between taps making one turn left after tapping; the opposite feet doing the tapping when turning clockwise. Steps for 1 & 2 remain the same with a partner turn during the first measure of Step 2 (when facing partners clap hand, then step, place feet together and swing foot forward before tapping; tap raised front foot - left, then right to right, then left). Steps in Part3 remain to same.
