To do the jerk dance move, follow these steps:
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms relaxed at your sides.
2. Bend your knees slightly and shift your weight to the balls of your feet.
3. Quickly thrust your arms forward in a punching motion while simultaneously jerking your hips back.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to the sides, alternating the direction of your arm thrusts.
5. As you become more comfortable with the basic jerk move, you can add variations such as:
- Stepping forward or back with each jerk.
- Twisting your body to the sides or front.
- Adding arm swings or leg kicks.
- Jumping or hopping in between the jerks.
