With a wire cutter, cut a 12-inch length of 20-gauge jewelry wire. This will create a beaded cross 2 1/4-inches long. Fold the wire in half and make a sharp end with jewelry pliers. Open the prongs slightly and insert small beads on both wires to 2 inches.
With fingers, twist the two beaded prongs together to make a pretty spiral design. Where the beads end, use pliers to twist the wires once. Split the two wires so each points in the opposite direction from the center.
Insert more small glass beads on each extended wire arm 3-inches on both sides. Bend the ends of the wire slightly so the beads don't fall off.
Bend each beaded arm halfway, in toward the center and fold in half, twisting the parts of the wires together where the beading stops. With fingers, twist each beaded arm like the bottom length of the cross in Step 2 to make a spiral design.
Open the two wires at the center and insert additional glass beads for about 1 inch on both. Crimp the wires and twist closed. Cut excess wire with wire cutters. With jewelry pliers, bend the ends, hiding them in the twisted beading.
Open the jump ring slightly and slip through the top part of the cross between the two wires. Add a few beads on the jump ring and close with pliers. Hang on chain or ribbon as desired.
