Who is the first drag queen?

There are conflicting narratives about the first drag queen. One early possibility is an English man named Julian Beck, who performed as a female impersonator during carnival parades in the 1700s. During this time, it was common for men to dress in women's clothing for entertainment, and Beck was known for his flamboyant performances and lavish costumes. However, the term "drag queen" was not used until the late 19th century.
