Choose music. All good choreography begins with a good selection of music. Though you need not be restricted to Christian music, you may often decide to choose music that comes with a overriding Christian theme.
Create a story, or derive one from scripture, that embodies a Christian theme. Such themes and stories are often based from Bible stories or prevalent Christian themes, such as redemption, evangelism, sacrifice, grace and love.
Choreograph a dance program. Create a story based on your chosen theme to the music that you have chosen. Choreography can be the most challenging part of this process. Be sure to incorporate multiple dancers and to tell your story in stages, using multiple pieces of music.
