Why did Tamara Taylor on Bones start wearing a wig?

Tamara Taylor, who plays Dr. Camille Saroyan on Bones, did not wear a wig on the show.

She does have naturally curly hair, but she usually wore it straightened on Bones. It's possible that some viewers may have perceived her hair as a wig, but this is not the case.
