In Ecruteak City, make your way to the large western house. Go through the door to find Eusine, who explains the house's past and its collection of mementos.
There are numerous items around the house that you can interact with, including those listed below:
- Living room: A TV with videos showcasing the history of the region, a picture frame with a collage of snapshots, a bookshelf with a set of volumes titled "The Sinjoh Ruins," a fireplace, and a couch.
- Kitchen: A stove, a sink, a cupboard filled with dishes and various snacks, a fridge with a note attached that mentions the food inside being for Eusine, a table with a teapot and a cup of tea, and a cabinet containing spices.
- Upstairs hallway: A painting depicting the legend of the three legendary dogs of Johto: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.
- Bedroom 1: A bed with a picture frame showcasing a snapshot of a younger Eusine, a desk holding a laptop, a dresser holding various accessories and a photograph depicting Eusine and Morty, and a nightstand featuring a notebook.
- Bedroom 2: A bookshelf lined with volumes on the history of the Johto region, a bed, a desk sporting a microscope and various scientific apparatus, and a nightstand displaying a notebook.
- Basement: A training area featuring various training equipment and a punch bag.

Once you have examined all the items in the House of Memories, you will trigger a series of flashbacks about an archaeologist, his daughter, and their discovery of the Ruins of Alph. It will be revealed that it was this archaeologist's daughter Celio, who grew up to become the director of the Kanto Pokédex Research Lab in Professor Oak's absence.
